Ok so here is something I am going to try and update every 3 months even though in the winter things are slow so they may be short. We are coming up on Thanksgiving in a couple of weeks so Happy Turkey Day in advance. We all hope that you and your family can enjoy your time on the ranch for the upcoming holidays. We would like everyone to know that all samples for the water system in 2009 came back non-detectable or well below the EPA standards these samples include: Bacteriologic samples, Nitrites, Nitrates, Volitale Organic Compounds (VOC’s), Lead & Copper. All samples are turned into Chem-Tech Ford in SLC, UT and results are then sent to The Division of Drinking Water of Uah. By doing these samples we are in compliance with the EPA regulations as well as the State of Utah to supply drinking water to our customers through distribution lines. Everything went well with the water system this summer with only a few minor leaks on the main disribution lines, but all were fixed in a timely matter and water was only shut off for a short moment. The winter has yet to tell with temputures dipping into below freezing with no snow on the ground please remember to shut off your meter if you are not going to be there. When you shut your meter off you lower the chances of lines freezing on your property and also the frost plate on your meter which has proved to be a pain to find in the winter time. If you do have problems please try and contact someone as soon as possible we do have a phone at the water company office that we check often for messages if we do not answer the number is 801-641-0111. If you do not get an answer please leave a message and try the water company seceratary at 801-461-0171 if this is after hours try your area rep. We had the annual meeting at the library at Kimballs Junction again and would like to thank those in attendace you should have a chance to read the minutes at the web-site in time to come. Remeber to vote for the those running for the water system board they are the ones who represent you as a shareholder. I would like to thank the current board for all of there hard work and free time they have put in to the water system. I would also like to thank the two employees (Trevor Townsend & Jody Robinson) who are always there to fix leaks and all other matters on the ranch. If you have any other imput on anything we can change that we are not doing or can improve on please email me my email can be found on the website under manager. Thank You and please enjoy your time on the ranch. Brody Blonquist/Manager PMMWWC
